Klitschko Wins by KO in Tenth
Vitali Klitschko defended his WBC title with a tenth round stoppage victory over Albert Sosnowski. Klitschko extended his record to 40 wins from 42 fights with 38 knockouts. It was the third loss of Sosnowski's career. It was a brave performance from the Pole who had a large fan base cheering him on. Ultimately he came up short against the more experienced champion. Klitschko bossed the majority of the fight but didnt have it all his own way. Sosnowski continually came forward and pressured the champion. Klitschko was able to grind down his opponent though and a huge right hand sent Sosnowski to the canvas, ending the fight in the tenth. Vitali will now turn his attention to his next fight. Top of the list is a unification contest with the WBA champion David Haye. Haye is the hold
